Project Overview
raSmith provided site engineering and surveying services for a new highway and fire facility, including the design of grading, paving, erosion control, storm sewer, storm water, parking lot and roadway improvements, and construction inspection.
As the village engineer for Salem Lakes, raSmith also provided construction oversight and coordination including project bidding. Some challenges faced during this project were an environmental corridor located on the property, which needed to be designed around, as well as a tight construction timeline to finish the project.
