Project Overview
An exciting mixed-use redevelopment is underway at Brea Mall in Brea, California. The new 14.65-acre space will feature a variety of establishments to enhance this destination including new retail shops, restaurants, residential units, and a resort-style fitness center. In collaboration with Simon Property Group, Inc., raSmith provided site design, surveying, planning and entitlements, grading and drainage, utility design, and stormwater management including hydrology and water quality measures to support this project.
The Brea Mall expansion has presented an opportunity for raSmith to continue its long history of working with Simon Property Group, Inc. — the largest retail developer in the world. The firms have collaborated on numerous successful projects including The Outlets at Orange, The Shops at Mission Viejo, Stoneridge Shopping Center, Del Amo Fashion Center, and others.
