Project Overview
The City of Brookfield continues to develop its park system to enhance the recreational opportunities for the community. As part of this initiative, the City is working with raSmith to provide site design services for the development of eight pickleball courts and amenities at Krueger Park.
Pickleball is one of the fastest-growing sports today, combining elements of tennis, badminton, and Ping-Pong. The pickleball courts will expand the other amenities at this 51-acre park for visitors to enjoy. raSmith prepared preliminary options and a final site plan that includes the court layout, seating areas with shade structures, pathways, landscape, lighting, and stormwater management.
The project is scheduled to be constructed during the spring and summer of 2023 with an anticipated completion in late summer / early fall.
