Human Resources Generalist - Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day HR coordination for employees benefit activities: answer questions and set up benefit processes such as new hire and open enrollment, qualifying event changes, beneficiary designations, and terminations

Skills and Requirements:
- 5 years experience in transportation real estate/right-of-way services: appraisal, negotiation, and acquisition
- WisDOT approved appraiser, or ability to obtain within one month
- WisDOT approved negotiator, or ability to obtain within one month
- Notary public, or ability to obtain
- Familiarity with WisDOT Real Estate Program Manual
- Understanding and experience with real estate laws, eminent domain principles and practices, the Uniform Act, and NEPA
- Ability to flex hours to include evenings and weekends, as needed

We currently have an opening for a student to fill a summer intern position to begin in summer 2025 at our Brookfield, WI office (approximately 10 miles west of downtown Milwaukee). We are looking for students with an interest in gaining practical engineering experience through on-the-job training. The tasks are diverse, depending on our current projects. On any given day, our student employees could be working on the following types of activities: roadway design, utility (stormwater, sanitary) design, flow monitoring, and permit-related activity.
