We currently have an opening for a full-time administrative assistant in our administrative division based in Brookfield, WI.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Proofreading and typing correspondence including letters, transmittals, memos, proposals, contracts, reports, and other documents.
- Creating and executing mail merged documents.
- Scheduling management of conference rooms and company resources via Outlook.
- Answering incoming calls, equipment checkout, and greeting guests.
- Copying, mailing, shipping, printing, and assembling print sets and other documents.
- Opening and distributing mail; taking outgoing mail to the post office on Fridays.
- Scanning documents and organizing and maintaining files.
- Meeting coordination including ordering food, setting and cleaning up conference rooms for meetings, and setting up AV equipment when needed.
- Operating and maintaining office equipment including the KIP, copiers, postage meters, and other office machines.
- Registrations and PDH entries.
- Onboarding and offboarding administrative support assignments.
- Stocking and inventory of office supplies.
- Cross train and serve as back up for the Administrative Support team.

We currently have an opening for a transportation engineer in the transportation division at our Brookfield, WI office location.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Performing planning and engineering studies.
- Report writing.
- Working on automated highway design to include drainage and plan preparation, quantity takeoffs, and construction cost estimating.
- Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering and coursework in transportation engineering.

We currently have an opening for a technology services technician in our technology services group. The successful candidate should be a self-motivated, proactive individual who will be working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide front line contact support and management of support requests and client needs.
- Prioritize incidents and service requests according to defined processes to meet defined SLAs.
- Deploy new hardware and software, as needed, based on the standards developed.
- Perform post-resolution follow-ups to help requests.

We have an opportunity for an individual with a strong structural and bridge design background and leadership experience. We are seeking an individual to manage and grow the firm’s bridge design practice, which is a sub-discipline of our structural division. We are looking for a team-oriented person who has well-rounded engineering experience working in concrete and steel bridge design and project management with a Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) focus.
Primary Responsibilities:
As a seller-doer, this person will serve as project manager or technical lead on bridge-related projects. Technical responsibilities include:
- Active participation in business development activities including project pursuits, client management, and organizational involvement.
- Working in collaboration with the firm’s transportation division to develop relationships with targeted clients and pursue transportation infrastructure projects for state and local clients in Wisconsin and the Midwest.
- Bachelors of Science degree in civil engineering is required; Masters of Science degree in civil engineering is preferred.
- Ten (10) plus years of bridge design experience including structural design of local, highway, and interchange bridges and ancillary structures. Three (3) plus years of bridge design experience as a Bridge/Structures Technical Lead or Project Manager.
- Wisconsin Professional Engineer Licensure is required; Illinois Structural Engineer Licensure is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Wisconsin DOT Facilities Development Manual and BOS Bridge Manual including standards, specifications, and procedures.

This position, either individually or as part of a team, is responsible for the overall design and coordination of cold-formed steel structural building-related projects from inception through completion of construction.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Organize and manage structural design efforts for multiple simultaneous projects.
- Design and layout structural engineering drawings for assigned projects/work assignments including the preparation of plans, schedules, and details.
- Design structural systems of primarily cold-formed steel framing and structural steel for a variety of health care, commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings nationwide.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Develops structural models based on provided layouts and sketches using Revit and occasionally in AutoCAD.
- Prepares construction drawings from Revit models under the direction of engineers.
- Revises models and drawings to conform with engineering and architectural changes and ensure they are accurate.

Our site design division currently has an opening for a project engineer. This position will be based in our Brookfield, WI, office. This position will manage the technical site design and permitting process for projects that prepare land for development or redevelopment. The site design group works in commercial/retail, educational, health care, industrial, institutional, residential, and other markets.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Experience is needed in the areas of hydrology, site and paving plans, erosion control and grading plans, and wet utility design/plan preparation including water main, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer for both public and private systems.
- Day-to-day responsibilities include planning, scheduling, and coordinating the design for the above-mentioned areas; preparing permit applications and submittals; and researching potential development sites.
- Maintaining project compliance with state and local codes, laws ordinances, and agency requirements.

We are looking for a construction inspector to join our team. A successful candidate has a minimum of 3 years of experience in municipal or Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) roadways and underground utility projects.
Skills and Requirements
- Successful candidates will have previous foreman, tradesman, contractor, or inspection experience on either WisDOT or municipal roadway or underground utility projects.
- 3 or more years of construction inspection in municipal or WisDOT roadway and underground utility projects.
- Prior experience monitoring the activities of contractors on construction sites and the construction process to verify that work completed is in accordance with contract documents.
- Responsibilities also include maintaining and submitting inspection reports on a daily basis.
