Joan of Arc Chapel Project Spotlight

Step into history at one of Milwaukee's most unique landmarks. Originally built in early 15th-century France, the Joan of Arc Chapel enriches the Marquette University campus and inspires all who visit. To help restore the chapel as closely as possible to its original state, thoughtful site improvements were carefully planned and implemented.

raSmith's team of site planners, landscape architects, civil engineers, and structural engineers collaborated with The Kubala Washatko Architects (TKWA), Marquette University Facilities Planning and Management Team, and other stakeholders to renovate and redevelop a beautiful site design for the chapel. Enhancements included natural stone walkways, terraces, stone walls, and new gardens that complement the chapel's character.
