WIS 31 Traffic Signals

As an on-site consultant to WisDOT, raSmith prepared traffic signal plans for six intersections along the WIS 31 corridor from WIS 50 to County S. Designs included temporary traffic signals, traffic signal removal plans, permanent traffic signal plans, and interconnect plans. The project team prepared temporary and permanent traffic signal timing plans and managed traffic signal operations during the construction project. Design features included Accessible Pedestrian Signals (APS), monotube traffic signal poles, radio communication, retroreflective signal backplates, emergency vehicle preemption, and video detection.
