Mark Van Der Wegen, P.E.
Mark Van Der Wegen has joined raSmith, a multi-disciplined civil and structural engineering and surveying firm, as a project manager to support the municipal services team in the Appleton, Wis., office. Van Der Wegen has more than 10 years of design experience, specializing in site design, roadway and utility design (for local and state agencies), and stormwater management for residential and commercial sites. He has also been responsible for providing field and office support for various clients for construction projects.
“Van Der Wegen will play an integral role in the growth of raSmith’s municipal engineering presence in the greater Fox Valley region,” said Chris Stamborski, director of municipal services. “His expertise and experience will enhance the firm’s Appleton office capabilities. Additionally, his experience in both the public and private sectors will provide raSmith’s clients, both current and prospective, with a well-rounded engineer who understands the inner workings of each sector.”
Van Der Wegen is a professional engineer licensed in Wisconsin. He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Michigan Technological University.
