Daniel Stadig has joined raSmith’s structural services division as a senior project manager in the cold-formed steel engineering group. Stadig will work remotely from Colorado, supporting clients nationwide with cold-formed steel structural engineering services.
Stadig brings more than 20 years of structural engineering experience specializing in new building and renovation design, cold-formed steel engineering, and forensic investigations of distressed structures. His experience includes structural system design, building information modeling (BIM), 3D coordination, project management, and construction inspection. Throughout his career, he has contributed to structural engineering projects across a wide range of markets including aerospace, aviation, commercial, education, government, healthcare, hospitality, industrial, residential, and science and technology.
Stadig is an active leader within the structural engineering profession. He has served in several leadership positions with the Cold-Formed Steel Engineers Institute (CFSEI), including vice chair, chair, executive committee member, and emerging technology committee chair. He is also a member of the Association of the Wall and Ceiling Industry (AWCI) and has authored technical publications on cold-formed steel design and construction.

Stadig holds a master’s degree in structural engineering from Mississippi State University and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Marquette University. He is a licensed professional engineer whose technical expertise and industry leadership further strengthen raSmith’s cold-formed steel engineering capabilities.
