Act Quickly! April 15 Deadline Approaches for WDNR Urban Nonpoint and Storm Water Management Planning Grants

March 30, 2021

Don’t miss out on the April 15 (postmarked) application deadline for 2022 planning projects under the Urban Nonpoint Source (UNPS) and Storm Water Management Grant Program. Our expanded water resources team at raSmith now offers an even greater depth of experience in grant writing and watershed planning/design/construction to help you put together a competitive grant application. Whether you are putting together your own application or need some assistance, below are a couple important considerations:

  • This reimbursement grant program can fund up to 50% of eligible costs for storm water management planning for urban areas and related activities.
  • Award amounts of up to $85,000 for planning activities are available to eligible applicants including cities, villages, towns, counties, tribal governments, and other special purpose districts.

Please contact Cory Horton, senior project manager in our Madison office at 608-421-5310 or cory.horton@rasmith.com to discuss your project and/or seek assistance with your grant application. Cory has extensive experience in grant writing, both as a former director of public works and working as a private consultant.
