We specialize in a broad range of infrastructure projects, including transportation, water resources, and community developments.

So, there are a lot of services we provide for a successful roadway project. It starts with the topo-survey. We work closely with our survey group to make sure that we have all the data that we need. We have a lot of staff in our group that is very experienced, very knowledgeable, and, has the foresight to see what sort of challenges are we going to run into.

raSmith's Municipal Services Division works on a various amount of utility projects, including water main, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer, both redesign as well as rehabilitation.

Our Municipal Services team specializes in stormwater management, environmental design, and ecological services.

So, our group focuses on projects that involve the management of stormwater runoff at the surface level. We also get involved in projects that impact our waterways. So, we've completed a number of floodplain studies that span multiple watersheds. We've also provided designs for fish passage and culvert replacements. We've analyzed storm sewer systems for municipalities, to determine where flooding concerns are and how we can best mitigate that. We also work at a smaller level and complete stormwater management plans and drainage plans for individual properties.

In the Municipal division at raSmith, a lot of our projects deal with regulating agencies that include permit and approval processes from them, including the Wisconsin D.O.T. and DNR. Our past experience on various projects allows us to streamline these permit processes and deliver our projects without any delays.

Our Municipal Engineering group often collaborates with our Construction Services Division to ensure projects are built according to plans and specifications.

Construction Services collaborates with Municipal on projects such as subdivisions, paving programs, bridges, road reconstructions, parks, pickleball courts. Also, facilities such as lift stations, water towers, booster stations. Basically, anything that our client needs, we are able to provide that service.

Our engineers, construction managers, and inspectors approach each project from the owner's perspective, ensuring quality, efficiency, and successful outcomes.
