Hohman brings experience in landscape architecture, site design and civil engineering to Oakmont office
David Hohman has joined raSmith’s Oakmont, Pa., office as a senior project manager. Hohman has served as the project manager and professional landscape architect on myriad projects in the United States and internationally.
Hohman has experience in all phases of project management, from conceptual design through construction implementation, as well as land development design support throughout the eastern U.S. He specializes in master planning for universities and colleges, design and construction of recreation and athletic facilities, green infrastructure design and planting design. Additionally, Hohman has vast experience with site construction administration and on-site construction oversight.
Throughout his 28-year career, Hohman has proved influential in the design of many higher education projects and corporate/commercial facilities, including numerous projects at Penn State, California University of Pennsylvania, Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania, Indiana University of Pennsylvania and Kutztown University of Pennsylvania; the Professional Football Hall of Fame event plaza and artificial turf, Canton, Ohio; Phipps Conservatory Children’s Discovery Garden, Pittsburgh, Pa.; Chicago Botanical Gardens, Glencoe, Ill.; and Missouri Botanical Gardens, St. Louis, Mo.
Hohman holds a bachelor’s in landscape architecture from West Virginia University. He is a registered professional landscape architect in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio and New Jersey, and is a LEED® Accredited Professional (AP) in new construction.
