Village of Grafton Riverwalk

Civil engineering and landscape architectural services were provided for the development of a downtown riverwalk along the west shore of the Milwaukee River as part of the Village of Grafton’s downtown revitalization plan.

The design team visited and photographed several other existing riverwalks in nearby communities to establish a starting point for ideas. Based on input from the Village, initial concepts were produced along with perspective illustrations showing the potential design. Preliminary budgets were also compiled based on these concepts to affirm that the design was staying on track with the potential funding.

The private developer will also be constructing new condominiums, businesses, and restaurants along the new riverwalk.
