R.A. Smith National Promotes Chris Pinkowski to Executive Director of Operations
 BROOKFIELD, WIS. – R.A.Smith National (formerly R.A. Smith & Associates and its National Survey & Engineering Division) — civil engineering, planning, surveying, landscape architecture, GIS and 3D visualization consultants — Brookfield, Wis., has promoted Chris Pinkowski, Director of Information Technology Services, to Executive Director of Operations.
Pinkowski will oversee the daily operational, general financial, and space planning activities of R.A.Smith National, as well as direct the development, implementation and evaluation of programs and services. He is further responsible for facilitating the activities of the Management and Executive Teams.
Pinkowski joined R.A. Smith National in 1990 in the Accounting Department. Shortly thereafter, Pinkowski moved into an IT-focused role and eventually assumed the position of Director of Information Technology (IT) Services. In his role as Director of IT Services, Pinkowski also oversees the firm’s geographic information systems (GIS) and visualization groups. He was named an Associate of the firm in 2003.
Pinkowski has a bachelor’s degree in management information systems and a master’s degree in business administration, both from Marquette University. He lives in the city of Waukesha.
