R.A. Smith & Associates’ Chris Stamborski is Named Young Engineer of the Year by the Waukesha Chapter of Wisconsin Society of Professional Engineers (WSPE)

BROOKFIELD, WIS.  – Chris Stamborski, project engineer, of R.A.Smith & Associates, Inc. — civil engineering, planning, surveying, landscape architecture, GIS and 3D visualization consultants — Brookfield, Wis., has been named Young Engineer of the Year by the Waukesha Chapter of the Wisconsin Society of Professional Engineers (WSPE). Individuals who are named to receive this award are recognized by their peers for their outstanding performance in engineering and their ability and willingness to serve the engineering profession as leaders to the future.

Stamborski has seven years of experience in roadway and utility design, stormwater management, surveying and construction services. He joined WSPE in 2000. He has served on the Chapter Board since 2003 and is currently the president of the Waukesha Chapter. In additional to his leadership responsibilities, he is involved in such efforts as National Engineers Week, MATHCOUNTS, scholarship fundraising, and chapter networking activities geared towards making a positive impact for both existing and future engineers.  At the completion of the local chapter presidential term, Stamborski plans to serve on the State Board for WSPE. 

Stamborski has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Marquette University. He is registered as a professional engineer in the state of Wisconsin. Stamborski is a Muskego native and currently lives in the city of Milwaukee.
