Robert Hubing Joins R.A. Smith National as Construction Services Manager

BROOKFIELD, WIS.  – R.A.Smith National (formerly R.A. Smith & Associates and its National Survey & Engineering Division) — civil engineering, planning, surveying, landscape architecture, GIS and 3D visualization consultants — Brookfield, Wis., has added Robert Hubing as construction services manager in the Construction Services Division. The Construction Services Division at R.A. Smith National provides construction oversight for urban and rural highways, bridges and other structures, and utilities.

Hubing has 36 years of experience with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation where he was responsible for administering and directing the construction and design of major complex transportation facilities. His recent experience includes serving as a mega project manager for the Marquette Interchange Reconstruction Project in Milwaukee.

Hubing has a bachelor’s degree in applied science and engineering with an emphasis on structures from University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. He is a registered professional engineer in the state of Wisconsin. Hubing lives in Belgium, Wisconsin.
